Challenge
Need to run a business rule on loan open, save, or close.
Core Encompass code does not provide access to these events.
Solution
Custom fields created when the Tool is activated are created for:
Loan Open
Loan Save
Loan Close
These field can be used as Trigger Events in business rules to perform step(s) when the event occurs.
Value
The Encompass Administrator occasionally needs to have a temporary rule to fix an issue or to update loans that were already in the pipeline when a new process or rule is added.
The Custom Action fields provide a convenient method for creating these rules.
